Da zwischendurch immer mal wieder Regen angesagt war, habe ich dann wenn möglich immer gleich mehrer Akkus hintereinander geflogen. Spätestens jetzt zahlt sich der Umbau auf den 450TH um. Ich flieg immer so um die 8 Minuten und muss dann gerade mal 1250 bie 1350 mA nachladen. Und das bei einer Motortemperatur von nicht mal 35°C. Und die Akkus werden bei Einhaltung der 8 Minuten Flugdauer auch nicht wärmer als 40°C. Der Stellplatz hier ist für engen Rundflug ganz brauchbar. Ich hätte nicht gedacht das es hier im Norden doch so häufig fast windstill ist. Heute Mittag habe ich dann mal den Drehzahlmesser aus der Werkzeugkiste geholt, um die Rotordrehzahl zu messen. Und ich habe nicht schlecht gestaunt was mir da angezeigt wurde. Bei gerade mal 70 % am Gasregler habe ich eine Kopfdrehzahl von 2880 1/min. Und die Drehzahl wird recht gut gehalten. Zumindest bei meinem jetzigen Flugstiel. Beim Nachflugcheck ist mir dann heute aufgefallen, das die neue Paddelwippe doch etwas axiales Spiel hat. Leider werde ich das aber mit den Bordmitteln jetzt im Urlaub nicht beheben können. Muss halt warten bis ich wieder zuhause bin und mir zwei passende U-Scheiben zuschleifen kann. Beim Rotor hochfahren merkt man dann die dadurch entstehenden Vibrationen leicht. Aber da waren einfach noch zu viele Autos. Und heute Abend war dann zuviel Wind. Mal sehen, evtl. ergibt sich ja morgen eine kleine Gelegenheit. Ein paar schöne Bilder sind das ja möglich. Zum einen wäre es mitten in der Ortschaft gewesen zum anderen war es dann doch noch recht bockig. Dafür ist der Womo-Stellpatz heute in Hooksiel direkt hinter dem Deich doch besser geeignet um ein paar Runden geschützt durch die Bäume rundum zu drehen. War fast wie das Fliegen in der Halle J Man muss halt ganz schön auf seine Position achten. Und ob nun eine Hallenmauer oder eine Baumreihe in die Nähe kommt, ist im Endergebnis das gleiche. Da es heute schon des Öfteren geregnet hatte wollten wir die Trockenheit nutzen und sind wir am Abend noch mal kurz am Deich mit den Kid`s spazieren gegangen. Den Rex hatte ich für alle Fälle mit dabei. Evtl. hätte man ja auch am Strand fliegen können. Dem war leider nicht so. Alle Zugänge zum Strand sind versperrt. Und auf dem Rückweg hatte ich dann den kleinen Mats auf dem rechten Arm und im linken den Rex. Mats dann fragend: „Huubschrauber nicht fliegen?“. „Gleich wenn wir wieder auf dem Stellplatz sind“. Der Kleine kennt auch für seine fast drei Jahre schon viele Komponenten vom Hubi. Also Akku und Antenne und Kufen sind schon fest im Vokabular verankert. Leider hatte es in der Zwischenzeit schon wieder angefangen zu regnen. Aber das darf einen ja nicht stören. Also ganz ungeniert zwei Akkus aus der Hosentasche gezogen und im leichten Nieselregen mit schönem Scale-Rundflug in Augenhöhe leergeflogen. Am Ende des zweiten Akkus hat es dann sogar noch aufgehört zu nieseln. Jaan war dann auch ganz begeistert von den einzelnen Runden. Was er mir mit hochgestecktem Daumen auch visuell zeigte. Beim Einräumen der Modelle ins Auto habe ich dann noch kurz die Querruder- und Höhenruder Ausschläge vom K10 angepasst. Querruder ist jetzt mal auf 40% begrenzt. Jetzt brauch ich nur mal einen flachen Hang wo ich ihn mal besser ausprobieren kann. Die mit Uhu Pop geklebte Rumpfschnauze scheint zu halten. Nachdem heue Abend der reguläre Flugbetrieb auf der Wasserkuppe eingestellt wurde und die Kollegen der großen Flieger-Zunft ihre Babys in die die Hallen abgeschleppt hatten, durfte der K10 zum ersten Mal in sein Element. Das „erste Mal“ endete natürlich sofort mit einem heftigen Patsch auf die EPP-Nase. Aber nix kaputt gegangen. Zumindest bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt. Nach dem ersten ernüchternden Ergebnis zuerst mal kräftig überlegt und nach der Ursache geforscht. Als erste Ursache stellte sich dann einmal die Einstellung der Ruder heraus. Mit etwas Ruderausschlag nach oben war dann auch sein sanftes Gleiten möglich. Bei Querrudereinsatz kam dann aber ein sofortiger Stömungsabriss. Also im Mischer erst einmal die Mischung Höhenruder etwas verringert. Das brachte dann schon mal etwas Entspannung. In der Zwischenzeit hatte ich dann aber schon die Nase eingebüßt. Aber zum Glück gibt’s ja Uhu Por und Glasfaser-Klebeband. Im nächsten Schritt probierte ich dann mal die Erhöhung der Querruder-Beimischung, da der Nuri auf Querruder sehr träge (eigentlich fast gar nicht) reagierte. Eine defekte 10A- KFZ-Sicherung auf die defekte Schnauze geklebt rückte dann den Schwerpunkt noch mal ein klein wenig nach vorne. Und ups, jetzt waren sehr schöne Gleitflüge aus der Hand möglich. An der Feineinstellung ist sicher noch was zu schrauben, aber das wird schon noch werden. Zumindest hatte ich heute einen erfolgreichen Erstflug auf der „Kuppe“ – Da wo eigentlich der Geburtsort der deutschen Segelfliegerei in der Nachkriegszeit vom 1. und 2. Lieber auf Nummer sicher – dafür ist zuviel Alu verbaut :-) . Zwei Akkus waren dann aber doch noch drin. Trotz der langen Nacht von gestern sind wir heute in den Urlaub aufgebrochen. Nach ca. 2 Stunden Fahrt haben wir dann einen netten Stellplatz bei Boxberg gefunden. Und welch ein Glück es war sogar so windstill, dass ich den neuen Jazz testen konnte. Der Regler ist wirklich erste Sahne. Der Softanlauf klappt prächtig. Innerhalb von 20 sec. läuft der Regler sanft auf Drehzahl hoch, die dann beim Rundflug konstant gehalten wird. Die Rucker am Heck, die ich gelegentlich bei Kehrtwenden hatte sind jetzt verschwunden. Zumindest bei diesem Akku. Ich werde das aber in der nächsten Zeit noch mal beobachten. Morgen geht’s dann auf die Wasserkuppe. Nach dem Ausräumen von Urlaubsgepäck und Womo habe ich nochmal den K-10 bei Windstille an meinem Privathang in Eutingen ausprobiert. Fliegt bei Windstille schön gradeaus und das ganze ohne pumpen usw. Der Schwerpunkt müsste so also stimmen. Ich werde aber noch im Netz nachforschen, ob die Anstellwinkel der Ruder Ok sind. Der Rex durfte dann auch noch mal für zwei Akkus raus. Tauber noch mal Halt machen. Aber durch die ganzen Staus auf der Autobahn haben wir unseren Plan dann doch geändert und sind dann lieber auf die Wasserkuppe gefahren. Nach einem schön gegrillten Abendessen habe ich dann so gegen 9 Uhr noch mal den K-10 rausgeholt und bei recht heftigem Wind in die Luft gelassen. Da ich noch nicht ganz meinen Einstellungen an dem Flieger getraut habe, habe ich nur auf dem Vorfeld das Werfen geübt. Bei einigen Starts habe ich dann auch Gleitstrecken von 40m erreicht. Und das auf ebener Strecke in den Wind. So habe ich dann bis kurz vor 10 Uhr geworfen, ein bissel in den Wind gedreht und versucht wieder zu mir zurückzufliegen. Das Wenden klappt nicht so richtig. Da muss ich wahrscheinlich noch ein wenig an der Querruderdifferenzierung einstellen. Aber das werde ich auf einen windstillen Tag verschieben. Bei der Dunkelheit hat sich jetzt dann auch ganz toll die Bespannung mit Neonfarben gelohnt. Es war einfach zuviel Wind und Regen. Also nix mit einem kleinen Rundflug über der Nordsee. Heute war dann wieder die Rückreise von Wilhelms Hafen aus angesagt. Am jetzigen Womostellplatz in Celle ist eine supergroße freie Fläche mit feinem Schotter. Tagsüber dient das ganze Areal hier als P+R Platz für die Altstadt. Aber nach 18.00 (also nach Geschäftsschluss) sind die ganzen PKWs recht schnell weg, so dass der ganze Platz zum spielen frei ist. Und gespielt habe ich heute nach den letzten Tagen der Abstinenz :-) Damit in der Dämmerung nicht so schnell die Orientierung verloren geht, habe ich noch schnell an die Kufen und an die Heckflosse Leuchtstäbe angeklebt. Sieht recht witzig aus das Teil. Die Flügelkanten habe ich mit Glasfaserband verstärkt. Jetzt sind die Flächen doch recht steif und hoffentlich auch etwas kindertauglich. Bin mal gespannt wie Jaan das Teil gefällt. Zum Glück bin ich nach 8 Minuten geladet um den Akku zu wechseln. Irgendwie ist das Minus-Kabel an das Hauptzahnrad gekommen. Und das hat das Kabel schon ganz schön durchgeschliffen. Jetzt ist 2 Uhr nachts und ich bin seit ein paar Minuten mit dem Bespannen fertig. Dauert genz schön lange so einen 1,40m Nuri zu bespannen. Besonders wenn`s das erste Mal ist. Am Anfang dachte ich das wird ja gar nix. Aber mit der Zeit bekommt man da irgendwie mehr Gefühl dafür, wo und wie man an der Folie ziehen muss. Morgen wollten wir eigentlich in den Urlaub fahren. Aber ich glaube das werde ich noch um einen Tag verschieben. Dafür ist es heute einfach zu spät geworden und ich würde mich zimmlich ärgern, wenn dann da oben am Strand nen besonders schöner Damm währe und ich nix zum fliegen dabei hätte. Aber ich glaube das werde ich noch um einen Tag verschieben. Dafür ist es heute einfach zu spät geworden und ich würde mich zimmlich ärgern, wenn dann da oben am Strand nen besonders schöner Damm währe und ich nix zum fliegen dabei hätte. Vor allem weil jetzt ja alles so schön geklappt hat. Zum Glück läuft die Nordsee ja nicht davon. Ich habe zuerst die hellere Folie auf die Fläche aufgebracht. Dabei am besten von der “Wurzelrippe” den gedachten Hauptholm nach ausen zur Flügelspitze die Folie anheften. Das Bügeleisen sollte ca. 100°C nicht überschreiten.
